ABANDONED
URBAN ABSTRACT
The “abandoned” series was created during a long studio session at the end of 2022.
Akte One deliberately dispenses with many of the usual graffiti elements and concentrates here on abstract structures that are intended to reflect the charm of old, abandoned buildings. The structures are reminiscent of walls that tell the story of years of vacancy and evoke a feeling of nostalgic romance in the viewer.
In the so-called “lost places” there is actually always some sign of graffiti, which shows that the two seem to be connected.
Akte One captures this charm on canvas and brings it into living spaces, where the works unfold their effect anew.
